Crockpot hot chocolate is the perfect solution to a warm and creamy chocolatey craving. Not matter the season, hot chocolate is a must for sitting around at the camp fire and is easier than ever to make ahead of time for your next get holiday get together with a crockpot!

CROCKPOT HOT CHOCOLATE

In just 5 minutes, you can have hot chocolate warming nicely in the background of any holiday party. Wether sitting around a bonfire at this years Friendsgiving, your holiday Christmas party or while out camping with friends in the middle of summer there is always a time and place for this childhood classic drink.

Go ahead and spice it up with some flavoured liquors if you so wish, or simply top with whipped cream and miniature marshmallows for the perfect warm drink to soothe your soul. There’s something about chocolate that just makes you smile isn’t there?!

Lately, I’ve had a huge craving for any baked treat that includes condensed milk. It’s creamy and devious and easy to stock up on those little tin cans when it comes on sale.

I can’t be the only one with 5 cans in my cupboards at all times? Either way, condensed milk, is the secret ingredient to the perfect cup of hot chocolate.

Also, forget those powdery clumps of sugar, salt and cocoa. This recipe includes chocolate chips for a richer and creamer taste.

CROCKPOT HOT CHOCOLATE RECIPE

This recipe simply calls for whole milk, condensed milk, chocolate chips and a tad bit of salt.

INGREDIENTS

Throw it all in the crock pot, give it a stir and some time and soon you’ll have a perfectly prepared hot chocolate ready to serve to your friends and family.

I suggest doubling this recipe for when you have guests, or just til it reaches the top of your crockpot.

EQUIPMENT

This crockpot hot chocolate recipe is beyond easy, and only requires the used of a crockpot. After years of using this handy crockpot, I couldn’t be happier with the guaranteed results of a perfect tasty product just like I had hoped for.

There’s nothing worse that thinking your crockpot meal is going to be amazing when you add all the ingredients, only to come home from work or out in the garden and be completely thrown off by the look and smell of what’s in there!

I also suggest using a silicon ladle to serve the hot chocolate.

TIPS

Set the crockpot to the warm setting so once it’s made it always tastes warm and delicious throughout the evening.

Provide all the fixings by placing a bowl of marshmallows, crushed candies, cups, whip cream and sprinkles beside the crockpot for a fun way to fill your cup!

Cups are great but honestly, you need a collection of adorable mugs to serve your hot chocolate in am I right?!

I love my Mama Hen Mug more than ever it’s soo adorable!
